We just got wind, that The Final Flare is going to be available as pre order only, as there are not going to be that many made for the UK. So if I was you, I would get on to your local SOS and ask them to order one for you. Then ask them to look through their sticker book and ask the price of every sticker, especially if the store owner’s name is Bingo – he loves it!
Any way, it out early December – so get on it now.
It seems that Poweredge Magazine has managed to claw it’s way in to the 00s from the late 80s and has a web presence at www.poweredgemagazine.com. Of particular interest is a great Todd Swank interview with som Sturt photography. Hopefully they’ll put up the awesome Jason Jessee interview at some point…
At last Stereo is gearing up to release their early vids on DVD. Both videos are classics and must haves on your skate vid shelf.

So we ran an excerpt of this book a while back – www.tweakerzine.com/#maumau
Finaly got my hands on a copy off of Turner (or should I say Turnerist?).
This book is a great peak inside a small clothing / party / skate / dealing company. A great read, with charecters you can definatly identify with. You can buy it direct from the author here: www.sewersidechronicles.com Highly recommended, if you have skated, listened to music, or just got shitfaced ever this is a book for you.
Volcom opened their new store this week – looks sick – go check it out it is on Earlham Street I think.
Here are a few pics from the opening night on Friday.
Backyard Ramp Jam 2008 from Philip Schwartz on Vimeo.
Some of you may remember Luke Hunt – a super rad guy. Hailing from New Malden, And then a local at Playstation when it first opened. he moved to Minneapolis in the US a few years back and has been a strong influence on the scene out there. He has been organising these backyard ramp jams that basically see people travel around in a bus hitting up the local backyard ramps and a skatepark or two. He is in the video ripping, along with Nike’s Chet Childress and a bunch of shreaders. Enjoy -go skate.
Many thanks to everyone that turned out in support of Tweaker Freaker Launch (and the booze!).
