This is going to be amazing:
p.s. Both times I’ve seen them with my friend Paul we’ve wanted them to play Aces High and they haven’t. Yet.

Vikig Blocks is a pool coping company based in Malmo and run by Dave Toms. They’re fucking rad… you can buy coping in slabbs of 30mm x 70mm and they’re super good. So good they have a team riding for them now including Ben Schroeder and the Dr…
TheProgram Zine‘s blog linked up with this edit by Dave Ackels from South Ohio which is amazing, sick skating, cats, bowls, curbs, snow and all round awesomeness:
Dickie French has got an exhibition:
Here is the Press release -
In celebration of the exclusive Vans X French collaboration shoe, prepare yourself for a launch exhibition to rival BloodStock.
Taking place on the 4th April at the brand new exhibition space below the legendary Fifty Fifty skate store in Bristol, The Fifty Fifty Gallery in association with Vans. The basement has been transformed with the help of Vans from a dead space into an open area perfect for exhibitions.
French is an artist from South East England. He draws finely detailed and often fairly dark artwork, some what informed by his love of metal music, history and story telling. He counts pro skater Dustin Dollin as one of his fans, it was therefore a natural progression for French’s work to feature on the Vans No Skool 2 shoe (Dollin’s fifth signature style). He says of the artwork that adorns the shoe
“The artwork for the shoe is a scene that you can imagine being the inside of Dustin’s head, just a crazy mosh pit full of arms going wild”.
The exhibition launching on the 4th April and continuing for one month, is a collection of previously unseen work and will also include some new pieces specifically produced for this show. You can be sure that there will be some memorable work within this exhibition, his use of materials in the past such as pigs blood is both innovative and controversial. Each piece is available to buy along with limited edition silk screen prints.
Plans are underway for an after party to top the night off, check www.vans.co.uk for updates.
