Pier 7 comes to South Norwood Park

South Norwood Recreation Ground in the south of London, UK recently got a rad little park installed.  It features a Pier 7 style block, various other blocks, a taco supreme and another quirky little quarter pipe.  If you are in the area – it is worth a roll.  Tweaker understands that Marley and Ads had a hand in getting this sorted. Expect some sick footage from www.thedrawingboards.com soon, as this will be their TF. More pics after the break.

Hey all, anyone skated here yet, looks ok, bit far from me, but I’ll go have a look…

On the subject of why local councils are SO SHIT at providing skate facilities, while these out the way town in scotland have epic parks…. I came upon this looking for info on this park… from Lambeth council, this is to do with a building of a play area in the park.

“Four thousand pounds is required to commission consultants to undertake the
    Community Consultation”

4k for consultation on a play area, er? and we wonder why they have no money for facilities…
