Fos has done a new series of decks for Baker, good stuff as always.

Speaking of the busy Dave Dixon, Dave has also created an online presence for his concrete labour of love, Antifornia. We featured Antifornia in a photo essay in our latest issue of Tweaker (see here) a little while back, check the Antifornia website for loads of new photos. Looking forward to a return visit to skate Antifornia soon…
In my book San Francisco company Western Edition just cannot put a foot wrong; amazing team, always incredible graphics and great videos. Continuing this is this nice 8mm edit of Jabari Pendleton by Zach Mack, entitled ‘Searching’.
Dave Dixon has been busy creating issues of his amazing zine Brain Snot for some time now, all in lovely printed form. Dave is now working on putting together an abridger version of Brain Snot online, you can have a look on the Hythe Knives website:

Tweaker don’t do product reviews, mainly because all things are mostly the same, but every now and again, shit comes in that is mad-rad ya dig.
Stu-pot at Lovenskate sent us the Tea-riffic boxset. It contains an 8.25 hand screen locvnskate deck. Hand screened decks once a staple of the industry are rarer than rocking horse shit these day. Also included are some stickers, a Tshirt (again hand printed here in the UK at The Mangle screenprint studio). But the pista-motherfucking-resistance is the inluced tea set, comprising of a teapot, and 2 mugs*. All 3 china items were screenprinted by Lovenskate, but the mind boggles as to what crazy technique Stuie inventented.
I like to think of Stu wearing a wizards cape and hat as he perfoms his screenprinting magic. Obviously he have the cape and pointy hat off when people come and visit Castle Mangle. Tea-riffic is a collaboration between Lovenskate and Carhartt. Carhartt, and the gentlefolk who work there are all awesomely epic, buy their shit and hug the sales rep when you see him.
Available from your favourite store, I hear Bored and SS20 have em, and you can get the at the Lovenskate online store too. Only 30 of the box sets were made.
Check out the photos and shit, I need some fresh brew. *Breakfast tea bags included.
On Friday 18th of February 2011 at 10am Steven ‘Bingo’ Binks was laid to rest. The previous Sunday, at the Five Bridges Skate spot, a memorial skate jam was held. Percy Dean captured the above audio and images in a such a poignant way from that day that we felt it was a good clip to repost here to mark Bingo’s funeral.
Bingo we salute you mate.
Michael Leon has said he is going to focus 100% on Stacks this year and it is already paying of with some amazing new graphics and Daniel Lebron added to the team as a pro. Power move. Check this welcome edit, incredible.
Yesterday saw a send of session go down at one of Bingo’s regular spots, Five Bridges. A huge turn out despite the weather, Ben at Sidewalk filmed what went down. Wish we could have been there.
More Skateboarding Videos
I regret to say I never met Bingo in real life. We probably were in the same location many times for comps at Northampton, Playstation, St Albans over the decades. We conversed on the internet over many years and would have long telephone chats about skateplanking and its awesomeness. He contributed a few times to Tweaker and I am sure to Sidewalk, and Doco too. He helped out immensely my company when we compiled a list of skateboard trivia for Nike SB. I feel an empty void right now, So I can’t comprehend what folk who – skated, filmed, shared beer or nandos with him, and those who were part of his fam, – must be going through right now. What ever he did seemed so completely solid, that it came as a massive shock that he has left us.
On behalf of Tweaker we dedicate the Wu track above, and send condolences to those who were close to him. RIP Bingo
