This July 10th Al Collins is embarking on a skate mission in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Ireland, leaving from Ireland’s most southerly tip Mizen Head and hopefully arriving 10 days later in Ireland’s most northerly tip, Malin Head.

Tweaker homie Phil Evans has posted up a load of photos on his blog from his solo art show, loads of awesome stuff as usual. Those cupcakes look good too.

Sad to say this is the last section from Phil Evans’ Super8 skate film The Scrum Tilly Lush to hit that there Internet. If you have enjoyed watching the sections Phil has posted online then the DVD is still available over at thescrumtillylush.blogspot.com.

This section features Al Collins skating Dublin and also features cameos from Mini Brown, James Black, James Carroll, Paddy Clear, Wayne Gallagher and Gav Coughlan.

As well as being a dab hand with the Super8 camera Phil Evans gets his art on too and will be having his first solo show on 26th March at the Little Ghost Gallery in Kilkenny, Ireland. If you are in that lovely neck of the woods drop in.

I think we mentioned the SOMA gallery show the other day in relation to Phil Evans’ artwork, anyway, the show went off the other day with loads of skateboarding and interesting art and photography. Check Phil’s blog for photos and full write up. Props to the Waterford scene for making this space out of an old council building and having the creative drive to make things happen.

Another part from Phil Evans’ The Scrum Tilly Lush DVD, this time featuring Danny Wainwright skating Bristol. Phil will have a load of new artwork in the attached exhibition that’s on in the SOMA gallery in Waterford on 21st Jan. Creative Super8 film maker Phil Evans has a trailer for his next film ‘Gibbo’ online, lots of weird dream sequence weirdness going on! The short film itself will be part of “Human Pyramids” group art show in the Ghetto gloss Gallery, 6109 Melrose Blvd, Los Angeles CA. 7p.m. September 26th. Good work Phil!
